LOL I have to agree with you on this Greg. The big thing is that it is simply a game. I do not like ganking lowbies, but sometimes the anger gets the best of us when it comes to being body camped and we take it out on every enemy in the area.

Heh. That's funny. I just started playing WoW seriously this year, on a PvP server. My kids have been playing since beta and love the PvP thing. They insisted. It certainly made things more challenging and yes, interesting.

Still, I believe in that weird idea of fair play, but that's just me. I have a 70 rogue, with some s1 Glad gear, and I won't be ganking any lowbies, unless they're ganking first and someone needs help.

My feeling is that charging into a lowbie area and killing everyone is just griefing and those people deserve all the scorn they receive (is it because they can't handle equal level PvP?) But you're right. It IS a PvP server, so no GM calls. Suck it up or get even or both.

And I have said "Hi" to the enemy a number of times, both higher and lower.

Nothing like that communication and teamwork. Like you said in your BG post. Ya know, there are plenty of people who will take a spec or path just because it's more challenging.

I think I'll try your route and play with the daggers some more. I certainly like seeing those big ambush numbers and anything that forces me to work on my skills is a good thing. :)

Thanks

Quite honestly as I put in another post they need to come up with daily, weekly and month long bans to those plaeyers that AFK. I agree with your point and believe that it would help at least for now, but these same people are going to keep on trying this and succeeding to gain honor from the rest of us that actually play the bg. I have been in to many AV's alone where I have seen anywhere from 10 to as many 15 people who are afk whether it is in the cave or simply somewhere on the map trying to hide. It is totally unfair to those of us that are playing the game the right way.

I would like to see a system where if you get reported afk and that buff stays on you longer then say 5 minutes then you get booted out of the BG and get the deserter debuff. This will at least give the team a chance to get someone that participates in the bg. Maybe they can even make it so if you get the deserter debuff then say twice in one day then you are baned from participating in bg's for the remainder of the day or even a week.

I actually considered a power elveling service - here's why. I have a 34 druid. I found leveling him as feral to be extremely boring. Yet, everyone agrees feral is the best leveling spec. All I really want to do is go boomkin and blast alliance crapbags because I think it would be fun.

Sure, learning how to play boomkin at 70 would take some time. However if I level as feral I will still have to adjust to Boomkin. And if I level other toons to 70 myself it shouldn't be too tough to learn a new one's style at 70.

In the end, I chose not to. Maybe one day i will finish leveling my druid - maybe as balance even if it is less efiicient - at least I'll be getting rested xp for a while.

Ah, I seriously need to get back into the rhythm of playing WoW again. But, I'm with you, why would anyone want to pay someone else to play a 'game' for them? The only downer is the time investment, which has been very limited for me lately.

What I am finding with my hunter in Arena is that you have to be flexible with respect to what you are doing. Burst power is very important for a hunter to succeed in Arenas so keeping this high is a key to winning. However, if you are in a fight with mana drainers then you need to be prepared to turn on your aspect of the viper when you mana pool is down to about 1/3 minimum so that you can start to regenerate it faster. This strategy seems to be pretty effective is recommended by all the top hunters now in arenas. Hunters though are still becoming a lost cause in Arenas though unfortunately. Melee and caster classes are more effective most times.
